Tho success in the Show driving competitions of a Bradley vehicle ■built by Mr. J. B. Leydon is notified elsewhere. Two different horses scored a success driven in this Bradley, which points to the merit of the design and construction of the vehicle. Dr. Scott’s piebald mare Daisy Bell was one of the victorious competitors referred to.

Luncheon in on from 11 a.m. at Dustin’s to-day. Applications for tlio position of secretary to tlio Hospital Board are invited. A willing young man advertises for a situation.
Tenders are called for the erection of the traffic bridge at Pakurae.
Tlio warehouses of A. Clark and Sons, Mucky, Logan, Caldwell, and Co., and Sargood, Son, and Ewen’s will be closed to-day. The Kaiti Electrical and Motor Engineering Works are prepared to supply and erect installations, using gas, steam, or motor power. The overhauling of motor cars and oil engines is undertaken, also the erection of telephone'wires, electrical installations, CvC. Electrical appliances are stocked.
Some blocks published in Mr. Taylor’s advertisement in tho supplement with this issue give an idea of the excellence of .some of the furniture on sale at his show rooms. Messrs. AY. Pehtio and Co., general drapers, invite Show-week visitors to call and inspect tho display in ail departments. r
