CHARITABLE AID BOARD,

The monthly meeting of the Cook Charitable Aid Board was held last evening.

A woman who had failed to get an order for maintenance against her husband in tlio S.M. Court asked for relief. She stated that her husband was earning money. —It was deckled to reply that it was entirely a matter for tlio Court. All account was received from tlie Auckland Board for support of a patient who liad been treated at tlie hospital for a short period after being committed to the Auckland Gaol. —-It was decided to repudiate the account. s

The custodian reported that the number of inmates at date was 12. Messrs. Whit© and Somervell were ■appointed tlie visiting committee for the coming month.
