CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 21. An adjourned inquest touching tlio death" of a newly-born child of Lilian Hobbs, a waitress employed at one of the city restaurants, "as •held this afternoon. A verdict was. returned tha.fc the denth of t*he child was due to neglect on tho part or the mother. The mother was then charged with concealing the birth ot the child, and was remanded ‘till Wednesday week.
