The Victoria is due to arrive from Auckland on Wednesday afternoon, and sails for South in the evening. Present arrangements a,re for the launch to leave the wharf at 7 o’clock with outward vpnssengers. The U.S.S, Co.’s Talime is due to arrive on Wednesday morning, and sails later for Auckland. First launch 6 a.in., last launch S.SO a.m. The next Shaw, Savill Co.’s boat is due to arrive here on or about Nov. Ist to load for England. Dalgety and Co. are the loading agents. Owing to the approaches not being sufficiently dredged it was found impossible to get the Tuatea on the slip last evening until 6 o’clock. She is now undergoing necessary repairs. The s.s. Fairhurn sails this morning for Wniroa and Napier. Cargo—For Wairoa, S7l sacks grass seed, lo tons wire, 2 wool-presses and .general; for Napier, maize. The s s. Squall arrived from Auckland anil Tolaga Bay last evening at 3 o’clock with 200 tons ot general cargo for Gisborno. She reports luiving passed the schooner Gisborne inward bound yesterday afternoon. Messrs Dalgetv and Co., agents tor the Huddart-Parker line, notify that on Wednesday the booking office will be closed all day. but will re-open at 6.30 p.m, for the convenience ot pasengers. Cargo for Southern ports must be booked and down at wharf not later than 4 o’clock this afternoon.
