ENGLISH RAILWAY TROUBLE.

A conference of all the railwaymen’s unions, including tho Associated Engineers and Firemen, representing. 140,000 employees, unanimously decided to demand recognition of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants.
The Chairman of the conference statc-s there was harmony between the Amalgamated Society and Associated Unions, duo to the intervention of the Parliamentary Committee of the Trades Congress. The Spectator and Saturday Review aro emphatic in supporting recognition of the railway men’s claims, tilio same as other unions. (Received Oct. 21, 10.25 p.m.)
