At the Lowe street Horse Bazaar on Saturday afternoon about 32 useful station hacks were submitted, and 21 changed hands at from £5 to £l7. The following revenue was collected at the port during last week: Customs duties £B4B 15s Bd, light dues £2B Is 3d, shipping fees £1 16s 6d, Harbor Board revenue £lO2 18s; total, £9Bl 11s sd. On Saturday Messrs Dalgoty and Co. held a land sale, Mr. A. S. Wachsmann being the auctioneer. Part of section 27, with a frontage to Childers road, containing 32 perches, wias Isold to Mr: G. Coop at £260. A contiguous section, having a house oil it, was sold to Mr. T. Fraser at £390. Another part of section 27 was secured by Mr. Fraser at £302, and another part with frontage to Cobden street, and having a house on it, was sold to tlie same gentleman at £330. Section 58, containing an acre, with two chains frontage to Disraeli-stree.t, was knocked down to Mr. C. Niold at £505. Bidding for half an acre at Harris Point only reached £2OO, which was not up to the reserve. Other lots offered, but not bid for were:—Sections land 2, part 142, facing Gladstone road, containing 2 roods 22 perches, together with cottage thereon; part 3 of section 142." fronting oil Gladstone road, containing 1 rood 11 perches, with cottage thereon ; sections 13 and 14, fronting on Leith street, with good two-roomed cottage thereon.
