NAPIER, Oet. 17. The People’s Day of the Hawke s Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Show was favored with beautiful weather, and the attendance constituted n record, about 12,000 people being on the ground. The hunters’ competition was won by Miss Reynolds’ King Jimmy, A\ . and E. Mackenzie’s AVhereroa second, and D. Rouke’s Miignon third. The leaping match was won by J. H. McNivcn’s Pickpocket, Mi's. G. L. Sunderland’s Tho Sinner being second, and D, Roake’s Mignou thud,
