MR McCULLOUGH’S SUSPENSION
Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 15. Air. J. A. McCullough lias so far received no final reply from the Government relative to his suspension, and it quite at a loss to understand the delay. " He stated to a reporter to-day that it seemed as if the Government were delaying matters so that popular feeling, aroused by the suspension, might have cooled down by the time the final dismissal was decided upon, or were waiting for him to commit a further b'reacli of the regulations by addressing a public meeting so as to strengthen their position should they decide to dismiss him.
