.On Thursday Messrs. Miller and Craig will hold an auction sale of the household furniture of Mr. Cato, Whataupoko. A cook-general is wanted. Mr. .W. Baird, To Arai Station, advertises that he has a number of Shorthorn bulls for sale. Ah advertiser has a furnished room to let.
Mr. T. G. Lawless advertises in this issue a new list of properties for sale, special mention being made of a block of land in Whataupoko, which is suitable for subdivision into building sites. Messrs. Peckover and Coy advertise for a number of servants. A number of fresh entries for the land sale to be bold on the 26tli inst., by Messrs. 'Williams and Kettle in conjunction with Mr. W. L. Clayton are set out in another column. A man cook for a station is wanted.

Mr. Nat Hooper, who lias commenced business in McKee’s buildings as a men’s clothier and mercer, has all advertisement elsewhere drawing attention to his new stock of ha.ts suitable for spring and summer wear.

A boy for a softgoods warehouse is wanted. An advertiser wants to relit a six or seven-roomed house
