United Press Association—Copyright (Received Oct. 8, 0.43 a.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 7.
Rain in the early part of the day somewhat marred the effect of the Eight Hour procession. There was an excellent display of banners and trade emblems, 54 societies participating. Vast crowds lined the streets. The sports at the Agricultural Grounds were largely attended. Horder won the principal event—the Eight Hour Wheel Race.
