PRIDE OF ENGLAND’S sire, Earl of Salisbury, was got by Lord Salisbury (imp.) from tlio pure-bred Clydesdale imaro Pride’s Darling, imported from Victoria (Oil) by Mr. John Trestrail. Pride’s Darling’s sire was Cox’s Prido of Scotland (imp.), dam Fanny, by Bothwoll (imp.). Prido of England is :a beautiful bright bay horse, with black points, standing 1C.3 hands, 7-year-old. He is a splendid type of an active, serviceable, good-boned horse, with the best of temper; a reliable good worker, and above all an exceptionally sure foal-getter. Ho was bred by J. N. Williams, Esq., Frimley, Hastings . Farmers and Breeders would do well to inspect this magnificent horse before promising tlieir mares elsewhere. T STAND THIS SEASON At. TE ARAI, THE THOROUGHBRED HORSE, SABRETACHE By Cuirassier—Roio. Tlie former is by Musket—Frailty, and Roie is by St. Leger—Hippona. It will therefore be seen that the pedigree is of an exceedingly high-class, and the stallion’s successes should alone recommend him to owners of suitable mares. SABRETACHE is a beautiful brown horse, standing 16 hands 2 inches in height, and is good-temper-ed. He is the sire of a number of race winners, both on the flat and over iumps. Good paddocking, with plenty of water, for two months will be provided for mares. All care taken, but no responsibility. All mares not removed after notice of stinting has been given will be charged 2s 6d per week for paddocking. TERMS: £2 2s at time of service, •and £2 2s when Mare proves in foal.
