BRIDE OF ENGLAND’S sire, Earl of Salisbury, was got by Lord Salisbury (imp.) from the pure-bred Clydesdale mare Bride’s Darling, imported from Victoria (6YI) by Hr. John Trestrail. Bride’s Darling’s sire was Cox’s Bride of Scotland (imp.), dam Fanny, by Both,well (imp.). Bride of England is a beautiful bright bay horse, with black points, standing 10.3 hands, 7-year-old. He is a splendid type of an active, serviceable, good-boned horse, with the best of temper; a reliable good worker, and above all ian exceptionally sure foal-getter. Ho was bred by J. N. ’Williams, Esq., Frimloy, Hastings . Farmers and Breeders would do well to inspect tills magnificent horse before promising their mares elsewhere. SABRETACHE is a beautiful brown horse, standing 16 hands 2 inches in height, and is good-temper-ed. He is the sire of a number of race winners, both on the flat and over jumps. Good paddocking, with plenty of water, for two months will be provided for mares. All care taken, but no responsibility.
