Mr. G. W. Runcimau made his ilobut as a stock auctioneer at the Matawliero sales yesterday, selling on behalf of Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co.
A Press Association telegram from AVellingtoU staes that Mr. Keir Havdio will bo the guest of tho Mayor of AVellington .during his stay in that city. It is expected he will reach Auckland from Australia on November 7th.
In tho temporary absenco of Mr. L. Ingram, who is in tho South Island, Mr. Wachsman, of Messrs Dalgety and Co. sold on behalf of Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. at Matawhero sales yesterday, as well as for his own firm, Messrs Dulgety and Co.
