Tho quarterly summoned meeting of the 1.0. R., Gisborne Tent, was held at Townley’s Hall lust evening, Bro. W. Coleman, C.R., in tho chair. Tho principal business was to further consider details for promoting the junior organisation (Ballance Tent). It was decided, in order to encourage membership, that no entrance foe be charged. A further step agreed upon /was tho distribution to parents of circulars sotting forth the benefits of tho order for boys and girls. It was considered advisable to have a separate night of meeting for tho juvenile •tent, which is to bo run as much on its own foundations as possible. Officers appointed for its administration were: —Superintendent, Bro. T. Holdswoi’th; secretary, Bro. H. Lord. A social gathering of the Juvenile Order will be held in about a fortnight’s time. Prizes awarded for attendance, introducing the largest number of new members, etc., will bo presented to tho winners.
