At Randwick Lady Florence cut out a milo in lmin 41:fsec, running right away from Count Witto in the last two furlongs. Tho maro ran tho last six furlongs in lmin 17scc—a particularly good go. Mooltan skipped over nine furlongs in lmin 57sec, doing the last mile in lmin 434 sec. Marinui beat Bluo Book by a length and Guarantee by eight lengths over a milo and a quarter gallop in 2min 15sec, but Camora went faster and negotiated a milo and a furlong in lmin 57sec, rattling off tho last mile in lmin 43|sec.
