The Wairoa Union has been advised that it is impossible to arrange for a tour in Hawke’s Bay. A subscription was opened yesterday for the purpose of assisting D. Porter, who broke his leg in the football match Thursday Union versus the Junior reps. There has been a liberal response from footballers generally, and a substantial sum w'ill doubtless be collected.
