CATERING WITH ECONOMY.
Economical marketing (as an experienced feminine caterer pointed out) does not mean buying inferior articles, or such as have been partly spoiled by keeping. Tho wise housewife buys the minimum quantity of good materials and uses them to the best advantage. Small, labor-saving contrivances are important in culinary economy. A meat-chopper or mincer costs a few shillings, and will in a month save its own cost in tho utilisation of scraps. There is indeed, plenty of scopo for science in tho kitchen, and it pays handsomely.
