Tbe Huddart-Parker Co.’s s.s. Zoalaudii arrives from South tins morning, and proceeds to Auckland. The following have booked passages: - AU'sdames Pitt, Watson, Massey and infant, Messrs. Isaacs, Pearson, Watson, Marwick, Wilson, Gouldsmitli, Judd, Massey, Renouf, Honton, Harris. Tucker, and Pot,toy. The Union Co.’s s,s. Tarawera arrives from Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and proceeds south during tho evening. • • .Messrs. Richardson and Co. s s.s. arrived from Napier early yesterday morning with a general cargo, ami left for Napier again at o p.m.
The barque Hazel Craig is -at present discharging her cargo of coal, which will take some time. The following alterations have been rendered necessary owing to_the_ mishaps to the Monowai and Warrimoo. The former vessel cannot sail from Sydney before September 28. Tho Tarawera, leaving Gisborne on Sunday next for Dunedin, will leave tho latter port on Sunday, September 29, in the Monow-aiWun through to Melbourne and back. The Monowai will resume her run for Sydney, via Cook Strait, from Dunedin, on 17th October. The Waikare, due to arrive at Dunedin on Tuesday lioxit, will now proceed to (Sydney, via East Coast ports and Auckland. Tho Mokoia, leaving Sydney September 26, duo at Auckland on October Ist, instead of doubling .back from that port to Sydney, as originally intended, will now come down the East Coast and through to Dunedin. The Manuka sails from Dunedin on September 25 for S’vdnev, via Cook Strait and back, withdrawing on arrival at Dunedin on October 12. when tho Warrimoo will resume running. The Monowai, arriving at Dunedin on September 22, will leave that port on September 27 for Auckland, via East Coast ports, in place of tho Tamwera, wliieh is going through to Melbourne in the Monowai’s run.
The ketch Coronation (Captain Martin) arrived from Timaru with a load of timber on Thursday.
