ACQUITTAL BILL CIRCULATED. (Special to Times.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 19. The Meikle Acquittal Bill was circulated t}iis afternoon. Tho Bill provides that the judgment of the Supremo Court be reversed, and that rlie record of such judgment shall bo doomed to bo oxpungd and deleted from the records. Tho pew Act is to confer no rights of action or remedy to anv person which lie would not havo had independently of tho Act. No provision is made for further compensation to Meikle.
