United Press Association—Copyright (Received Sept. 18. 0.45 a.m.) BRISBANE, Sept. 17. The Treasurer delivered his Financial Statement to-night. He congratulated the State on its continued prosperity. The revenue for the year was £4.307,912, exceeding the estimate by £466,712. The expenditure was £3,911,797, exceeding tho estimate by £73,900. The estimated revenue for the current year is £4,447,404. Railway rates and fares are to be reduced this year to the extent of. £IO,OOO. The exemption for income tax is raised to £2OO, while the tax on income from property will bo reduced from Is to 9d. The estimated expenditure for tho current year is £4,440,300.
