Mr. Bell, M.P., intends to invite the railway companies to consult the leading Union officials relative _ _to what is intended by the recognition of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants. , All tho principal railway companies declare that their decision not to officially recognise the Society is unaltered by Mr. Bell s threat of a strike. While it is regarded that the labor outlook is sumciently grave, it is thought that Mr. Bell’s influence may be taken too seriously.
