The Union Co.’s s.s. Moura arrived at 7 o’clock on Saturday morning, and proceeded to Auckland in the afternoon. The Union Co.’s s.s. Talune arrived from Auckland at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon, and proceeded South at'B p.m. After discharging her cargo of coal frill Newcastle, the Hazel Craig will proceed to AVhangarei, and from there take timber to Australian ports. She will then load coal again for Gisborne, having been engaged for at least two more loadings of Newcastle coal for this port. The Union Co.’s s.s. Haupiri arrived from Greymouth via Napier at 10.30 on Saturday morning, and left for Auckland via East Coast ports at 5 p.m. The Union Co.’s s.s. Squall arrives «—from 'Auckland to-day with a cargo of timber from the Taupo Totara Timber Company. The auxiliary schooner Kereru and the scows Gannet and Southern Isle proceed to Tairua to load timber for Messrs Evans, Nield and Co. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s s.s. Tongariro arrived in Plymouth on Thursday from Wellington. Captain Savory, here with the Hazel Craig, has not been in Gisborne for 22 years, but in the early days of the port he frequently traded here. In charge of the brigantine Energy ho travelled the East Coast for a considerable period, and later, was in charge of the s.s. Herald, which used to make Gisborne a port of call. It is possible that the Awanui may be engaged shortly for a trip to the islands, a party of excursionists being desirous of chartering her for that purpose. Weather permitting, the Kaeo (Captain Skinner) will probably leave for Auckland via East Coast ports to-day. There are at present 25 vessels on the way to Australia with cargoes of New Zealand timber. By Telegraph. AUCKLAND, Sept. 15. Sailed—Talune (1.15 p.m. yesterday) for Gisborne.
