TREE-PLANTING ON BOUNDARIES. Press Association. AUCKLAND, September 13. William Small was charged at tlie police court to-day on the information of Francis J. Stewart with planting trees alongside the boundary line of bis property at Birkenhead without the previous written consent of tlie occupier of tho contiguous laid. Mr. Selwyn Mays, who conduoted tlie prosecution, said lie believed this was tlio first case of the kind over heard in tlie colony. Defendant had planted some pine trees botweon liis and Mir. Stewart’s property without obi lining tlie litter’s consent. Mr. Dyer, S.M., convicted defendant. and ordered him to pay £3 Is
