TO-MORROW’S SUPPLEMENT.
SOME OF THE CONTENTS. The increasing popularity of the “Times” Saturday’s supplement is readily understood when the varied nature of its contents is considered. This week’s issue will contain several capital stories, ono of special note being entitled “Tho Best AA'ay Out.” In this the author gives a graphic description of ranch life in the AVestcrn districts of America and the dramatic climax .is one of the finest efforts yet discovered in fiction of this class.
Amongst special articles ono headed “The Gnawing of the Sen” records' in an intensely interesting manner the marvellous changes made in various parts of the globe, notably in England, by the encroachments of the ocean. Another entitled “Australia’s Back Door” throws a good deal of light upon the possibilities of tho Great Northern Territory. Farmers will be interested in up-to-date news from various parts of the colony and in a first-class article by a well-known Bradford expert on tiio preparation of wool for market. The Ladies’ Magazine contains a charming short story, a special description of the Governor’s ball and other AVellington gossip by “Penelope.” a first-class article entitled “Providing for the Future,” household hints, and recipes, and a fairy tale for the children. Sporting, enthusiasts are. catered for in a budget of interesting notes and special comments on the recent Australasian boxing championships just decided in AVellington.
