She proceeds direct from this port to Brisbane. The Union Co.’s s.s. Squall left at 7 o’clock iist evening for Napier, and proceeds to Auckland, via Tolaga Bav. The Union Co.’s Waipori arrives from Newcastle to-morrow. After discharging cargo at this port she leaves again for South. The Unioh Co.’s Koonya arrives from Westport this morning with a cargo of coal, and proceeds to NaP '-Messrs. Richardson and Co.’s Rnrii .arrived yesterday morning from Akixio witfi 2170 posts for Messrs. V iIJiams and Kettle, and sailed for Napier in the afternoon. Messrs. Richardson and Co.'s s.s. Toroa arrives from Napier this morning. , The auxiliary schooner Kuco has experienced rough weather all along the coast. She left Auckland last Saturday fortnight, and arrived at Port A-wamii last Thursday. She is expected early. The auxiliary schooner Fnirburn sailed for Auckland at noon yesterday to load bricks for Gisborne. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tlira kina will make Auckland the filial nort of departure for London on the 26th inst. The barque Emprezn. chuntered l>v Alessrs. Peacocke and Co., I''.ty\\l::ingarei with a load of coal for Kaiparn last Tuesday, and will commence loading rimu for this port immediately. The currying capacity of the Bmpreaa is 220,000 ft.
