It is officially announced that Britain and the United States, pending arbitration on the subject, have arranged a yivendi for tho conduct of the Newfoundland fisheries. The arrangements are substantially the
same as those of 1906. Amor icon iishonnon may shiii Newfoundlanders as members of crews outside the three-mile limit, and America in return waives the use of purse seine nets, and also undertakes that American fishermen will not fish on Sundays.
