SALVATION ARMY BIORAMA
The Salvation Army Biorama Co. was to arrive from Napier this morning to open a four nights’ season at His Majesty’s Theatre. The season will he commenced with a matinee at 2..30 o’clock this afternoon, when a full programme will he given. At 7.15 o’clock this evening tho Mayor will welcome the company at the firehell, and a performance wilt he given at tho Theatre at 8 o’clock. Tomorrow afternoon an open-air concert will he given by tho hand connected with the company at tho Recreation Grounds, when a special collection will be taken up. A display of sacred films will be given to-mor-row evening. A notice regarding the collection for this entertainment appears in the advertisement. The company promises a now and novel entertainment, and it should bo remembered that- tho proceeds of the entertainments go to help the" rescue work of the Army. Air. Wilson, the gentleman who operates tho cinematograph, was employed for a long time as an electrician b.y the Melbourne City Council, and is said to carry out his work in first-class style.
