A LIBERAL RESPONSE. (Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, September 4". 'Oho splendid work done amongst the iiooi' by Mother Mary Joseph Aubert is fully recognised here. The charity concert in the Town Hall on Monday night in aid of the Sisters and Homes of Compassion, over which she presides, realised £lO3. Of this amount no less than £2O was realised by the sale of sweets and cigarettes by Miss O’Connor and her helpers, who take a very active interest in the good Mother’s work.
