S. AVillock beating Mr. D. R. Murray bv the substantial margin of 4 up and. 2. Air. AVillock is only a player of two or three seasons’ standing, but has made rapid strides, and should prove an acquisition to Poverty Bay go]f. So far the only Poverty Bay phn er who has entered for the New /('aland championships, to be decided m Napier next week, is Air. D. R- Murray. Some difficulty is being experienced in getting a team together, but the committee hope to be able to arrange for one.
