WELLINGTON LACING CLUI3. Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 30. The annual meeting of the Wellington Racing Club was held tonight. The President,' Mr. J. B. Harcourt, said the stakes paid lastyear totalled £13,030, an imp-ease of £2745 compared with the previous year. The totalisnfor receipts were £14,336, an increase of £4723.' The total receipts were £25,360, an increase of £5839: The club’s assets amounted to £39,'754, and the liabilities to £32,837. The financial position of the club had improved during the year by about £SOOO.
