(Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, August 28. In answer to a question by Mr. Lang, tiio Premier to-day stated that the sheep tax due on Ist September next will have to he paid. A great many people have already paid, the tax. The law. however, is to be amended so that this will he the last occasion on which it is to be collected.
