A FAMOUS FLEECE OF WOOL. What may he truly described as a fleece with a history is now on view in the office of Messrs. Dal go tv and Co. (Ltd.), Wellington. Grown by Mr. Henry Duckling, owner of the world-renowned R.iby Grove flock, from a Lincoln yearling ewe bred by himself, it had the verv great distinction of winning first prize for Lincoln fleeces at the Royal Agricultural Society of England’s great annual show at Derby in June of last year; and later tlie sheep on which it was grown was sold, along with others, at a long figure to go to the Argentine. The beautiful lustrous appearance and soft handling qualities of.this splendid fleece are such as, will-delight the heart of every breeder of lonowool sheep who aims at the production of wool of the highest quality, according to the paricular breed of sheep in which ho is interested.
