The Union Co.’s s.s. Mokoia arrives from Auckland and Sydney this afternoon, and proceeds south during the evening, tho last launch leaving the wharf at 5 p.m. The Union Co.’s s.s. Haupiri left Wellington at noon yesterday, and arrives at Gisborne to-morrow morning. She sails fur Auckland via Coast bays to-morrow, at 8 a.m. The Union Co.’s s.s. Squall arrived from Auckland, via Tolaga Bay, yesterday- afternoon, and leaves for Napier at 4 p.m. to-day. The Union Co.’s new cargo steamer Wa ill ora left Calcutta on Wednesday, 7t.h August, for Singapore, Java, Sydney, and New Zealand. The Union Co.’s chartered steamer Katanga left Calcutta on Saturday, 10th i-nst., for Auckland direct. The scow' Rambler sails for Tai-rua to-day to load timber for Auckland. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo leaves Auckland for Coast bays and Gisborne to-day. The ketch Coronation sails for Auckland to-morrow.
The U.S.S. Moeraki on arrival at Lyttelton from Sydney on Friday, 30t;h August, will dock at that port before proceeding to Dunedin, where she will withdraw for survey, resuming thence on Wednesday. 25th September, for Sydney, via Cook Strait.
The U.S.S. Malieno will leave Dunedin on Sunday, Ist September, for Melbourne, in the Moeraki’s run, and continue therein.
The U.S.S. Moura, at Wellington on Tuesday, 27th August, will not leave there for Lyttelton and Dunedin until Wednesday, 28tli, so that she may bring on passengers for Dunedin ex Moeraki from Sydney arriving at 'Wellington that day. Passengers from northern ports for Melbourne wishing to connect with Maheno at Dunedin for Melbourne may travel by Moura as above, or bv Messrs. Huddart-Parker and Co.’s steamer duo at Dunedin on Sunday, Ist September.
