The departure of the Kuru from ** Napier was postponed owing to the illness of the captain, and she will not arrive until to-day. The Buoent'aur is not expected to leave Suva before the 2otli in&t. A report was received in town yesterday that the overdue scow Zingara had been sighted off Wainui during the forenoon. The auxiliary schooner Wanapu arrived in Gisborne on Wednesday evening, after a rather rough passage. Captain Page had IS.oooft of timber for Mahia, but owing to the heavy wind and sea could not make the port. The Gioborne cargo consists of 20,000 ft of timber and 5000 bricks. . . The new U.S.S. cargo-carrier Wailiora lias resumed her voyage from Calcutta to Now Zealand with a full cargo. The Z.N.S. Co.’s Rimuthaka arrived at Plymouth on the 14th inst. from Wellington.
