The Governor of Casablanca was found to be in possession of recent loot, and also "reat quantities of mer-clia-niidse were found bidden in this stores. Many horrible atrocities are reported. One Spanish baker was roasted in his own oven. The Medioma tribe, returning home with Casablanca loot, were attacked by other tribes. A stubborn fight ensued for several hours. v ATTACK ON FRENCH TROOPS. BERLIN, August 14. The Berliner Ta-geblatt and IColnische Zeitung publish telegrams from Casablanca accusing the French officers of being aggressors in the first affray, -and stating that the French troops fled, and some were saved by a Spanish detachment. The publication of these messages has disturbed the satisfaction that was felt by the French at Germany’s non-interference in Morocco. KHAMAS' ENRAGED. The Khaoms tribe, owing to the bombardment of Casablanca, are furious against the Christians, and vow revenge upon Raid Mac Lean.
