The Union Co.’s s.s. Tarawera will leave Dunedin on August 31st in place of the Waikare, for Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. The Union Co.’s s.s. Squall left Auckland on Friday evening at 9 o’clock for Gisborne via Tolaga Bay. The s.s. Wanaka arrived yesterday morning from Napier and left for Auckland about 8 a.m. The scow Alert left for Kirjpaka at 8 o’clock on Saturday morning. The barquentine Frank Guy Ts expected here at any time with a cargo of 2-50 tons of coal for the Westport Coal Co.
