AIARTON, Angnst 8. The Alarton Court occupied the whole day hearing police prosecutions against persons taking part in a disturbance at Alarton on Saturday night, July 27. Jno. AlcKinnoa wan fined £3 with costs for throwing an egg which struck John F. Sicily. Oswald Jefferson and Jas. Freeman were convicted and fined £lO each with costs for throwing stones and breaking police station windows and 6 others were fined £1 each with costs for creating a disturbance. ©no case was dismissed.
