DUNEDIN, last night. An inquest on tlio body of James Arthur, who died at North-East \ alle(r as a result of an accident sustained on the railway duplication works on March 6th, was held today Medical evidence showed that death was duo to paralysis, resulting from a fractured spino. The evidence of the railway officials was to tlio offocfc that a shunting engine bumped into a truck, knocking deceased down ns ho was about to relievo tlio brake. Deceased was pinned to a rail by the wheel of a truck. The jury returned a verdict that deceased mot his death by being accidentally thrown from a railway truck.
