ANOTHER SCOW ASHORE.

Press Association. AUCKLAND, yesterday. . Tho scow Bravo is reported to bo ashore' at Ngunguru.

VESSEL NOT INJURED.

AUCKLAND, last night. Tho scow Bravo was carried ashore at Pontana Bay, close to Whangarei, oil Monday night. The scow had anchored in a sheltered position, but the anchors dragged and the vessel was swept ashore. The crew all landed safely. The scow is said to be on a safidy beach, and to have sustained no damage. She was bound from Ngunguru to Paeroa. The crew are' standing by the vessel, and it is expected she will be floated without inuch difficulty. The Bravo was ash- ■ ore near Cape Maria Van Diemen in January last. She was floated off, • and came to Auckland, where she was « repaired. She is owned by a local ' syndicate. The master’s telegram to the local agents, tlie Northern Coal Company, is as follows:—“During an easterly gale the Bravo dragged her two anchors and carried away the cable. There is a chance of getting her off if the weather moderates, but at present it is impossible to do any- • tiling, as seas are breaking over her ' hull and rigging. The crew are all o.i shore.
