Received July 30i a - m - SYDNEY, July 29. An outbreak of fire is reported at i 1.30 p.m. (the hour of closing the cable office) aboard® the French mail steamer Vill© de la Ciotat, lying at Circular Quay. Several engines are {r cing to tho scene, and as tho names have not yet spread far there are hopes of checking it before serious damage is occasioned.
