The Union Co.’s s.s. Haupiri, 748 tons. Captain Mcßride, arrived in Gisborne at 2 p.m. yesterday troin Auckland. She sighted the schooner Kneo going into Waipiro. The Union Co.’s s.s. Squall is expected to arrive this morning. Captain Mcßride, of the s.s. Haupiri, states- that he saw nothing of hetup the coast. The Tyser liner Indraloma (Captain Trotter) is due in Gisborne _to load for London about August? 15. The Union Co.’s s.s. Wanaka does not call at Gisborne this trip. The cargo for this port will be transhipped to the Talune at Napier. Messrs Richardson and Co. s s.s. Toroa leaves Wellington to-morrow for Nanier and Gisborne. Messrs Robb Bros, have received advice of the scow Alert leaving Kiripaka with a load of coal for Gisborne.
