There is a growing danger that prescription writing has become a lost art. It is surprising (says tho Hospital) how few medical men there are who originate a prescription of their own, and do not borrow or copy formulae. A Baltimore man interested in the education of the young recently visited a kindergarten in that city. After tho first exercise, . the visitor was asked to put a fow questions to the pupils. To a boy of five the caller said: “Have you ever seen a lion’s skin?” “Yes, sir,” same in. ringing tones from the youngster. “And where?” asked the visitor, impressed with the child’s earnestness. “On the lion,” answered the boy. An Indian Territory editor says: “It is niQro fun to see a man read a pub on himself in a newspaper than to see a fat man slip on a banana peel The narrow-minded man reads it over seven or eight times, and then goes around and begs all the copies lie can. The “kindhearted one goes home and reads it to his wife, and then goes around to the office and pays what lie owes. The successful business man, wlio advertises regularly and makes money by it, immediately starts out to find the editor, and then tho two walk silently down the street, and the business man takes sugar in liis’n and they both oat a clove or two and life is sweeter, and peace settles down on their lives for a moment. Such is the experience of a. mustard seed that falls on different ground.” Dr. Sheldon’s Digestive Tabules. Taken after meals, digest the food This is tho natural cure for Indigestion.
