The* Dailv Express’s Berlin correspondent states that a powerful Ger,llllll syndicate is endeavoring to inquire a controlling interest in the Marconi Company and dependent companies. A recent convention compelled the Marconi ; ration to accept a- message from German and other rival systems thus depriving the British Company predominance. The German syndicate understanding the Marconi Company’s chagrin”at the British _ Government agreeing to the convention has in this opportunity to hid for' the Marconi properties.
