SERIOUS CHARGE AGAINST A KANAKA.
Press Association. WHANGAREI. July 24. At. the Police Court this morning John Brown, a kanaka, charged with carnally knowing a girl under 16 -cars of age was remanded until tugust 2. Prisoner will ho sent to Auekla ml to-morrow.
