The attendance was large, including his Excellency tho Governor, Sir Joseph Ward, tho Hons. Carroll, Millar, and Findlay, and members of Parliament. The sum of £15,308 was passed through tho totalisator, being £3850 more than for tho corresponding day last year. The winning double, on the Parliamentary Handicap and Win tor Hurdles, paid £ll3 11s.
