Mr. Liddle, at Saturday’s meeting of the Gisborne branch of the Farmers’ Union, advocated the appointment of a veterinary surgeon, whose services would be available for the flocks and herds of members of the Union. A member asked if it was proposed that- other branches should participate in the scheme.
