DURATION OF THE SESSION.
LONG sittings predicted. to Times.) "WELLINGTON, last niglit. There is non- every indication that the present session will ho a long and arduous one. So far matters Parliamentary have been going along very easily, and the House has invariably risen before midnight, it is «i certainty, however, that we shall have some very late sittings during the progress of the Government s policy bills. Sir Joseph Ward will himself take charge of two of tno land bills—the graduated tax and endowment bills —while Mr. Mclsab will have charge of the land bill proper. Members may set away for “The Christchurch Week,” but if ihey do they certainly will have to come back again. .
