Press Association. WELLINGTON, yesterday. At a meeting of tlie Professional Musicians’. Society of Wellington, a Bill circulated by Mr. Sidoy, seeking to establish a society to be called the Incorporated Society of Musicians of New Zealand, was considered, and it was decided that the Wellington Society could not support the Bill as at present drafted.

NAPIER, last night. A meeting of musicians was held this evening to consider the Musicians’ Bill to be introduced this session. It was decided to call a meeting of musicians of Hawke's Bay to consider the advisability of forming an association, of the musical profession for the district contemplated in the Bill.
