FANCY-WORK EXHIBITION.
United Press Association—Cop/right LONDON, July 11. The Duchess ,of Argyll has opened tile Anglo-Australasian exhibition of work at Rumplemayer’s, St. Jamesstreet.- It consists of pictures, millinery, books, photographs, enamels, modelling, leatherwork, and needlework. The Princess of Wales contributed a worked screen. Mrs. Ileeves was present. The Duchess, replying to the welcome accorded her, said" she knew something of wjiat Australia could do, and was sure the effort would he successful. The Duke of Argyll expressed admiration of the patriotic Australian ladies who labored so hard to show Londoners what Australians could do. He was certair the exhibit would bo much appreciated.
