WORKERS’ DWELLINGS.

NUMBER IN THE COLONY. (Special to Times.) AVELINGTON, last, night. Already £31,286 has been expended in providing workers’ dwellings in the colony. There are 20 in Auckland, 25 in AA'ellington, 12 in Christchurch, and 11 in Dunedin. The report states that the class of tenants throughout the colony is very good, and many of them express gratitude for what the Government has dono for them in this direction.
